Description:

This All Levels Vinyasa class aims to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for people to learn about the benefits of yoga and understand how to adapt their yoga practice to meet their body’s ever changing needs.

This Vinyasa yoga class allows for many opportunities to find the balance between effort and ease. It also creates space to slow down, tune in, and take note of how students are feeling in the present moment without judgement. It gives them space to find humor and humility, to explore different routes to make the yoga postures (asana) work for them, and to build confidence in their body and its ability. This class aims to help students feel empowered through strong standing postures, to improve balance and mobility, to soften and surrender in restorative postures, and to offer a place of respite where they can focus on their well-being.

Testimonial:

“Sarah possesses the unique ability to make the poses and flows accessible while empowering to all. She strikes this unparalleled balance of lighthearted and encouraging in all her methods of instruction. It’s a call to action, for the betterment of you and all those around you. The experience is equal parts therapy, movement, inner exploration, and fun. This mind-body-soul journey is fulfilling, refreshing, and enriching. Being a part of her class feels like growing and settling, all at once.” - Heather R.

About the Teacher:

Sarah Arteaga is an E-RYT 200, RPYT, and YACEP yoga teacher who has been teaching yoga since 2016. Sarah conveys an energetic, light-hearted, yet grounded approach to yoga, infusing her classes with opportunities for her students to find their edge and find their center. She encourages her students to make time in their day for themselves, for movement and breath work, and for cultivating their practice on and off of their mats. Sarah is a Mamá to an almost 4 year old and a 2 year old. She enjoys spending time outside with her husband, their little ones, reading and writing poetry, and singing loudly and unapologetically when the mood strikes her.
